StarCraft II, the highly anticipated sequel to StarCraft, is a science fiction themed strategy game that was developed by Blizzard Entertainment. Wings of Liberty, the base game was released to the public on July 27th, 2010 and will later be followed by the two expansion packs, Heart of Swarm and Legacy of the Void. The story is set in the near future of the Milky Way galaxy and is set around three separate species. The main game focuses, for the most part, on the excommunicated Terrans and is set about five years after the occurrences of 98′s StarCraft: Brood.
The computer game’s main character, Jim Raynor, also stars in this episode as a bitter drunk. Instead of a linear game, this Star Craft consists of the main character accepting random missions and using the earned cash to upgrade his armor and hire additional units. Unlike the first game, every play-through is totally random but the ending is generally the same.
The quickest way to master the game is by learning and memorizing its hotkeys. The added shortcuts make the game extraordinarily easy and the extra seconds they spare really start to add up, they will also allow players enjoy the game more without having to constantly look at their keyboards. Leave behind a small but adequate troop squad that will guard over the susceptible base. Use the game’s ‘patrol’ command so that they patrol and attack rather than ignoring any enemies nearby.
Knowing everything about the various races of the game is extremely important as well. Their weaknesses and strengths are crucial details and should be carefully considered before choosing one to play as. It’s especially helpful to know and take full advantage of their strengths.
