Writing reviews and getting paid for it is another way for gamers to make money although this is probably not the route I would go down as I think it is a little bit unethical.
If you often hear yourself saying how gamers waste their time, then have another think. Playing games for a living is something that a lot of people are doing. The old saying is very true; if you are doing a job you love you will never have to work a day in your life.
You don’t know what you are missing until you try it so this should be something that you consider doing. Even without the money PC gaming is a rewarding hobby and if you give it a try you will surely understand why.
