You may think that it will be easy to create a top ten list of games but this is actually harder than it sounds. I found this out myself recently when I decided to do just that. Instead of it taking the few minutes that I thought it would take, it ended up taking hours.
But the good news is that after all this effort I have now found a way to easily create a top ten list of games; in fact this method could be applied to any top ten list that you want to create.
- Brain storm and write down every game you have ever played. After you are convinced that you have thought of all the games then you can stop but you will probably find that more games pop into your head as you go on and this is okay; just keep adding them to your list. Don’t try to put these games into any order at the moment that will come later.
- You can then sit down and rate each of these games out of ten. I discovered that it just wasted time if I thought about a number and then debated it; the mark that popped into my head first of all was usually a fair assessment. Don’t worry you will have a chance to move things around again later.
- Find your 10 highest scoring games if you have many games with the same mark this could mean that you have more than 10 in your final list.
- Check out where the games are in the final top ten and then move them around if you feel you need to. If you have more than 10 games you will need to choose those that are going to be eliminated from your list.
