World of Warcraft Strategy Guides for All Play Levels

This brief WoW Leveling Guide will give both Horde and Alliance characters valuable tips to play more efficiently. All of these tips can be applied by both Horde and Alliance players.

Play your character rested whenever possible.

Doing this gives you double the experience points while you do quests. By building up a character’s rested bonus to the maximum level over a few of days, you can potentially carry out numerous quests and gain the double XP bonus the entire time. The rested bonus is a huge time saver and will make you a more efficient player.

Green quests are your goal.

They’re fairly easy and offer the biggest bang for the buck. By doing quests above green you will find that you will die several times in the process if you are attacked by several monsters at a time. Your armor will undergo more damage, which means more time wasted while you dash back to the nearest town for repairs.

While leveling up, avoid instances.

While the loot might be cool, the truth is you won’t be leveling in an instance as quickly as you would on a normal quest or two in the same amount of time.

Do multiple quests at once.

Each time you enter a new zone, try to grab as many new quests as you can. Read through the quest information and try to group together as many quests that are in the same direction at once. This will save you lots of time running from one end of the zone to the other trying to finish quests.

Wander to other zones. If you have completed all the easier quests in your own race’s zones, do not be afraid to travel to another part of the continent or even to the other continent to aim at those easy green quests. The bonus experience from finishing so many quests quickly will make you a power leveler before you know it.
